Sherwood (1 July 1965)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Bodem and daughters of Buffalo, N. Y., and the Rev. and Mrs. Jack Snedaker and family of Lander, Wyo., returned to their homes last Tuesday. They spent two weeks with the ladies’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Max Schwanebeck returned from a trip up north, where they visited for a week with Mrs. Schwanebeck’s brother and family.

 

Miss Jan Schwanebeck spent the weekend with her sister, Mrs. Raymond Wetzel in Neillsville.

 

Philip Freedlund made a trip recently with the F. F. A. class of Pittsville to Manitowoc and participated in testing soil.

 

Miss Helena Freedlund and Harry Jacobson are visiting relatives in Rockford, Ill.

 

The Lutheran Ladies Aid held their Bible school picnic at Sherwood Lake Sunday.

 

Becky Todd of Madison came Tuesday. She was a dinner guest of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Todd.  In the afternoon she went to help her sister, Mrs. Wayne Booth. Mrs. Booth met with a serious accident a few weeks ago and had returned from the hospital that day.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cary went to Plainfield Sunday to attend a family reunion.  Mr. Cary met one of his sisters from New York whom he hadn’t seen for nearly 20 years.

 

LaVern Holverson of Edgar is spending a few weeks with Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Schade.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Pederson have returned from a visit with their daughter and family in Illinois.
