Krause, Esther (4 April 1905 - 12 July 1965)

 

Funeral services were to be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock for Mrs. Edward Krause, 60, of R. 2 Granton, who died Monday evening in Neillsville.

 

Services were to be held from the Zion American Lutheran Church in the Town of Grant, with the Rev. Robert M. Corl, Jr., of Madison, pastor of the Silent Lutheran Church for the Deaf, officiating.  Burial was to be made in the church cemetery.

 

Mrs. Krause, the former Esther Brohelden, was born April 4, 1905, in Ettrick. She attended the school for the def in La Crosse for eight years, and the school for the deaf in Delavan four years.

 

On July 25, 1937, she was married in Granton to Edward Krause, who also is deaf. They had resided on their present farm since that time.

 

Mrs. Krause is survived by her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Bernice) Klinkenberg of Ettrick, and Mrs. Alvin (Stella) Twinde of La Crosse.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, a son, and one brother.
