Mr. and Mrs. Gene McKevitt and Dan are touring northern Wisconsin this week with their camper.
Gib Gile was on the mail route a few days last week while Nona Houg was on vacation.
Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Rossenbach have returned to Merrillan for the summer after an extended absence in Okla.
Mr. and Mrs. Lewie Neumann and family and Mrs. Zimmer of Chicago, spent a few days visiting at the home of their brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Gus Neumann. They also visited relatives in Minnesota while in the area.
Mrs. Bob Porth and sons of St. Paul spent Saturday with their mother and grandmother, Mrs. Dorothy Stolp.
Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Kolbrack and family of Milwaukee are spending a few weeks at their cottage in Merrillan.
Mrs. Ida B. Johnson and daughter of Milwaukee are vacationing at their summer home on Lower Lake.
Mark Hagen of Altoona is spending a few days at the Harley Anderson home.
The Merrillan Methodist W. S. C.S. met at the summer home of Elgie Beede at Hatfield Tuesday evening.
Mmes. Selma Olson, Dorothy Heath and daughter, Diane, spent a few days recently visiting relatives in Racine.
Mr. and Mrs. Preston Baker of Madison enjoyed a week’s vacation with Mrs. Baker’s grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. DeVan Staples. Preston and DeVan spent several nights fishing at Hatfield, but they didn’t return with any of the big ‘beauties’.
Mr. and Mrs. Bucky Gust and family moved to Black River Falls last weekend. Mr. Gust is employed by the Dairyland Cooperative and works out of La Crosse.
