Jennings, Charles (23 MAR 1887 - 25 SEP 1963)

 

Final rites for Charles Jennings, 76, of the Town of Hoard (Clark Co., Wis.), were held Saturday afternoon, Sept. 28, at the Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home.  Rev. Ralph Claybaugh of the First Congregational Church, Owen, officiated, with Russell Westendorf conducting the Masonic rites.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

 

Serving as pallbearers were W.A. Fritz, Roland Haire, L.H. Munson, Lyle Haas, John Potocnik and Lorraine Fritz.

 

Charles Jennings passed away Sept. 25, 1963 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley, following a cerebral hemorrhage.

 

Born March 23, 1887 in Montgomery Co., Ill., he made his home here since 1920, farming in the Town of Hoard, plus pursuing the carpentry trade for many years.  During his long residence here he was an active member of the Owen Masonic Lodge.

 

He is survived by a brother, Thomas of Palatine, Ill.; a sister, Mrs. Norah North, Tuscola, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte French of St. Paul, Minn.
