Miss Bernice Stargardt and her pupils gave a valentine party Friday afternoon at the Romeo school.  The children gave an appropriate program after which games and contests were played.  Valentines were distributed by Delbert Thieme and George Delves.   Lunch was served by the teacher, Miss Stargardt, assisted by Dorothy Rydberg, Esther Wydeven, Elaine and Betty Ringquist, Adella Mae Hebert, and Audree Melander.  Visitors present included Mrs. Carl Anderson, Mrs. Wydeven, Mrs. Earl Ringquist, and children, Mrs. William Williamson, Mrs. Arvid Erickson, Mrs. Fred Stargardt, Mrs. N. Kommers, Mrs. Oscar Carlson and children, Mrs. Golda Davis, Mrs. Vilas Lupke and daughter, Mrs. Edward Melander and son, Mrs. Leo Hebert and children, Mrs. Gust Rydberg, Mrs. Alvin Thieme and daughter, and Mrs. Art Sorenson.

 

Several relatives gathered at the Earl Ringquist home Thursday evening to help Alvin Ringquist celebrate his ninth birthday.

 

Orin Williamson returned Friday from a two weeks’ stay in Madison.

 

Mrs. Clarence Buetsch and daughter spent the past week at the Louis Carrey home in Wausau.

 

The Romeo Co-op Dairy association officers met Friday at the Herman Andre home for the monthly session.
