TWO FORMER SOUTH SPENCER GIRLS MARRIED
Word has been received here of the marriage of two former South Spencer girls, Misses Evelyn and Helen Sanner. Miss Helen Sanner and Jack Waters were married July 18, 1940, at 2 p.m.
at the Baptist parsonage at Maquoketa, Iowa. On Saturday afternoon, Jan. 11 Miss Evelyn Sanner and Eugene Hardy of Sterling, Ill., were united in marriage in the Methodist parsonage at Clinton, Iowa, by the Rev. Clemons, pastor. The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Waters, brotherinlaw and sister of the bride.
Mr. Hardy is employed with the cold storage locker plant at Sterling Ill, where the young couple will make their home. Misses Helen and Evelyn Sanner are the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Sanner, formerly South Spencer residents, now living at Sterling, Ill. The young ladies will be remembered by many friends and former schoolmates.
