Elsie Dorst spent Thursday with Mrs. Homer Spry who was sick a few days last week.

 

? Arthur of Sheboygan Co. is visiting relatives in the W.J. Davis home since Wednesday.

 

Mrs. J. Lautenbach and son Arthur spent Thursday evening at M. Dorst’s.

 

Fire destroyed the log house at the C.H. Ide farm Friday afternoon.  The house was occupied by Clarence Fahren and family, who lost most all their household furniture, bedding and clothing.  They have the sympathy of the entire community in their loss.

 

Mrs. M. Dorst and daughters Nell and Mable, Mrs. H. Pietenpol and daughter Beatrice spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Will Bartz, who called on Mrs. Fred Bartz and baby.

 

Mrs. Henry Grassman and Miss Alene Grassman called on Mrs. Fred Bartz Friday afternoon.

 

The Country Club met at W.J. Davis’ Friday evening.  A good attendance and a good time is reported.

 

Nell Dorst spent from Sunday afternoon till Monday morning visiting friends south of Granton.

 

Mrs. Chas. Crone and children visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hayden Saturday and Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Phipps spent New Year’s with his parents.

 

Mrs. Ed Soles spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. W.J. Davis.

 

Leonard Dorst took a sleigh load to see the play at Granton New Year’s evening.

 

A.W. Phipps and family spent Sunday with their daughter Edna in the Fred Daniels home near the Ridge road.

 

Mrs. Will Davis entertained the Ladies Aid and neighbors Wednesday afternoon.

 

The sewing bee will be for the benefit of Mrs. Clarence Fabian.
