EMIL HANNAMAN DIES AT HOME NEAR EDGAR

 

Was Owner of Filling Station Near Soo Line Tracks; Former Resident of the Village of Spencer.

 

Emil Hannaman passed away at his farm home near Edgar on Friday morning of a heart attack, aged 49 years.  Mr. Hannaman was a resident of Spencer in 1926 where he run what is now the Spencer Oil Co. station, now run by Pete Goeler.  The station was closed for a time before being taken over by Mr. Goeler.  He has since been living on his farm, Sec. 21, in the town of Frankfort, where he was a lifelong resident.  Funeral services were held at the home on Monday afternoon with burial in Abbotsford.

 

Mr. Hannaman purchased the Husky Oil station in Spencer two years ago, which is still conducted by his assistants.  The deceased was born in the town of Frankfort on September 1, 1891.  He was twice married.  He is survived by his widow, who he married 13 years ago; four brothers, Otto and Henry, Milan; Richard, Athens, and Herman, town of Cassel.
