Christ the King Catholic church was the scene of a quiet wedding at six o’clock Tuesday morning when Miss Claire Fenhouse, daughter of Henry Fenhouse, became the bride of Ted Oettinger, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oettinger of Stratford. The bride was attended by Miss Evelyn Schultz and the groom by Arthur Davel. After the ceremony which was performed by Rev. Father Graf, a wedding breakfast was served to the bridal party and immediate relatives at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Harley Graves.
Mrs. Oettinger attended the Spencer public school and high school. Mr. Oettinger is a graduate of the Stratford high school, class of 1927. Mr. and Mrs. Oettinger will be at home to their friends at Stratford were Mr. Oettinger operates the Stratford bowling alleys.
