Who could find fault with the starting of the New Year? We can’t.

Loyal Jordan and family spent New Year’s Eve at Ad. Albaugh’s.

Nora and Grace Albaugh, Vera Pietenpol and Mollie Kidd visited Dulcie Smith’s school at Spokeville last week.

George Norris from Richland Co. is at present here visiting his sister Mrs. Beaty.

Mrs. Charles Ferris of Chili is visiting among relatives here this week.

Grant Snyder is hauling rock, getting ready to build a new barn in the spring.

Mrs. John Patno and Vera Pietenpol visited Mrs. Fred Pizer last week Tuesday.

The little house on the corner looks lonesome as Mr. and Mrs. John Pizer are at Richland County spending a month among relatives.

Ray and Roy Vogel, Norman Rowe, and Mollie Kidd took in the New Year’s dance at Loyal.

Mrs. John Patno and nephew Milton caused quite an excitement at the town cheese factory last Saturday.  The horse jumped over the schaves and turned them out and started for home, but was stopped at the factory.  No serious damage was done and no one hurt.  Old Dan isn’t so slow after all.

Grace Albaugh spent New Year’s with Mollie Kidd.

John Patno and family spent Monday evening at Ad. Albaugh’s.

Grace Albaugh went Thursday to spend the remainder of the week with Miss Carter who teaches at Heathville.
