Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Bolen announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Bernice Bolen of Spencer, to Clifford Hoftiezer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Hoftiezer, also of Spencer. The wedding took place before the altar of the Zion Evangelical church at Winona, Minn., at five o’clock on Monday afternoon, July 14, Rev. Ralph Esterly officiating.
The bride was dressed in a navy blue suit with matching accessories and wore a shoulder corsage of roses and sweet peas. The only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Carl Taves of Wausau, sister and brotherinlaw of the bride.
Mrs. Taves was dressed in a navy blue dress with matching accessories and wore a corsage of sweet peas and baby’s breath. Mr. an Mrs. Clifford Hoftiezer were graduates of the Spencer high school.
