Bulgrin, Linda Marie (Marriage - 21 August 1965)

Bouquets of yellow and white chrysanthemums and white gladioli graced the altar of St. Katherine’s Episcopal Church in Owen for a double ring ceremony uniting in marriage Miss Linda Marie Bulgrin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis E. Bulgrin of Owen, and James Frederick Pyle of North Muskegon, Mich.  Rev. Richard Hewetson officiated.  Mr. Bulgrin gave his daughter in marriage.

For her wedding, witnessed by 100 guests, the bride chose an elegant floor length gown with detachable chapel train fashioned of peau de soie. The fitted bodice was styled with a scoop neckline and long, tapered sleeves. An A-line skirt was attached to the empire-styled waistline, from which a bias band extended ending in streamers at the back. The bodice was richly trimmed with braid, pearls and bugle beads.  A pillbox headpiece of matching peau de soie, with Alencon lace and pearl trim, held her bouffant pure silk veil of imported English illusion.  The bridal bouquet was made of white daisies and yellow roses with white streamers attached.

Miss Linda Pyle, sister of the groom, was maid-of-honor.  She was attired in a floor length cotillion blue crepe dress that featured an empire style waistline and A-line skirt.  Her matching blue pouf veil was attached to a petalled headpiece.

The groom was attended by Frederick Damm a cousin of North Muskegon, Mich. Ushers were Tim Bulgrin and Delmar Anderson.

Mrs. Pyle will be a senior this year in Ripon College.  She is president of Kappa Delta sorority; and a member of the laurel, a woman’s honorary society. Mr. Pyle, a graduate of Ripon College, is leaving soon with the Army for Viet Nam.  He is a member of Phi Delta Theta fraternity.
