Kopp, Scott Howard (18 October 1988 - 10 March 2012)

 

Scott Howard Kopp, 23, of Humbird passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012, at his home.  He was born Oct. 18, 1988, to Ricky and Lori (Sanders) Kopp in Black River Falls.  Scott was raised in Humbird and was a graduate of Lincoln High School, Class of 2007, in Alma Center.

 

He met his wife, Elizabeth Sharkozy, when he was in high school.  They continued together and were married May 6, 2011, in Neillsville. Together they have a daughter, Lauren Jane Kopp, who is the light of their lives.

 

Scott worked for Meisters Forest Products from 2007 until October 2011, when he started to work at Majestic Pines Casino as an environmental specialist.

 

Besides spending time with his family, Scott loved the outdoors.  His favorite pastimes were bow hunting for whitetail deer and gun hunting for turkeys.  He was both funny and serious.

 

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Lauren; parents Lori and Ricky; brothers Rocky, Thomas and Mathew Kopp, all of Humbird.

 

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton.  Burial will follow in the Mentor Cemetery, Humbird.  Family and friends were invited for visitation Tuesday March 13, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home, Hixton.  Family and friends are also invited for visitation Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home of Hixton is assisting the family with arrangements.
