Loos, June Katherin (Marriage - September 1965)
Bouquets of white gladioli graced the altar of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal for the wedding of June Katherin Loos of Rt. 2 Loyal, and Nathan H. Noeldner of Loyal. The nuptial mass was said by the Rev. Norbert King, uniting in marriage the young couple.
Parents of the bridal couple are Mr. and Mrs. Alex Loos, of rural Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Herman Noeldner of Loyal.
Approaching the altar with her father, the bride was attired in a floor length gown of taffeta peau. It featured a fitted bodice, outlined with Alencon lace appliqués, a bateau neckline and elbow-length sleeves. The sheath skirt featured a detachable fan chapel train, which was attached to a self-material bow. A floating panel enhanced the back waistline. Completing her bridal ensemble was a veil of silk illusion, joined to a triple seed pearl and crystal crown. She carried a bouquet of long stemmed red and white roses.
Miss Sherry Loos of Madison was her maid-of-honor. She wore a two-toned gold, floor-length sheath, styled with an Empire waist. She carried a bouquet of long stemmed football chrysanthemums.
The groom’s attendant was Donald Noeldner of Loyal. Ushers were Jerry Hinker and Harry Johnson.
Wedding day activities consisted of a reception at the home of the bride, a 4:30 p.m. dinner in St. Anthony’s Hall and a dance in the evening.
The new Mrs. Noeldner is a 1960 graduate of Loyal High School and a 1961 graduate of a beauty culture school in Eau Claire. At present she is employed as a beautician. Mr. Noeldner is a 1956 graduate of Loyal High School, is employed in construction work.
