Dallas, Pvt. James P. (Military - 1965)
Pvt. James P. Dallas, son of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Dallas of Thorp has been assigned to the 1st Armored Division at Fort Hood, Tex.
Dallas, a body and fender repairman in Company C of the Division’s 123rd Maintenance Battalion, entered the army in May, 1965, and completed basic combat training at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.
The 21-year-old-soldier is a 1962 graduate of Thorp High School.
