Milton, Leslie John (28 December 1888 - 19 September 1965)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Georgas Funeral Home for Leslie J. Milton, 76, of Rt. 2 Neillsville, who died here Sunday. He had been a hospital patient since April. The Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
Mr. Milton was born December 28, 1888, in Spooner. His parents were the late George and Louella (Paulus) Milton. He came with them in 1894 to Clark County, where he had lived since.
He served for 30 years as treasurer of the Grand View School District and was assessor of the Town of Pine Valley for several terms.
His marriage to Margaret Luchterhand took place September 18, 1912. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1962.
Mr. Milton is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Janice) Drackenberg of Milwaukee; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Kurth of Neillsville; and two brothers, Elmo and James Milton of Neillsville.

Mr. Milton died September 19 in Neillsville following several months of illness.
People from out of town attending were: Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Drackenberg of Milwaukee; Mrs. John Tibbett of Rockford, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Lange of Houghton, Mich.; Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Lundblad, Mrs. jack Greene, Mrs. T. B. Milton, and Phillip Milton, of Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. John Drackenberg and Mrs. Eugene Coyl, of Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. James F. Halblieb, Robert Halblieb and Charles Halblieb of Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Kenneth Grabe of Menasha; Mr. and Mrs. Ninus Carlson of Augusta.
Pallbearers were: Earl Hanson, Fred Dux, August Nemitz, Carl Kessler, Martin Wagner and O. C. Aspen.
Ellis Wall sang, "Abide with Me" and "Nearer My God to Thee", accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
