Diers, Carl Henry (12 July 1884 - 27 September 1965)
Funeral services are scheduled for this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock for Carl H. Diers, 81, of Neillsville, who died here Monday. Services will be held from the Georgas Funeral Home (Fourth Street), with the Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church officiating. Burial will be made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Carl Henry Diers was born July 12, 1884, in Germany, coming to the United States at the age of nine. The family located on a farm near Neillsville. On December 16, 1914, he was married to the former Anna Bardeleben in Neillsville. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Diers was engaged in farming just west of Neillsville until 15 years ago, when he moved into the city.
Surviving are a son, Charles, of Neillsville; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Thursday from the Georgas Funeral Home (Fourth Street) for Carl H. Diers, 81, who died September 27. The Rev. W. C. Koehler of the United Church of Christ officiated. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Two hymns were sung by Ellis Wall, accompanied by Mrs. Jess W. Scott.
Pallbearers were: Robert Opelt, Carl Kessler, August Janke, Ed Allen, Tony Wieting and Tom Yndogliato.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Garbisch of the Granton area attended the service.
