Rude, Ann (Marriage - 25 September 1965)

Nuptial vows were repeated in a double ring ceremony Saturday in the Koshkonong Lutheran Church in Cambridge, uniting in marriage Miss Ann Rude, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rude of Cambridge, and Dean Zickert of Minneapolis, Minn., son of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert of Neillsville.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, entered the church wearing a floor length gown styled with a chapel train. The fitted bodice was styled with a round neckline and long, tapered sleeves. Her ensemble was completed with a white petal headpiece which held her shoulder length veil.  She carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums.

The bride’s attendants were Jane Rude, maid-of-honor, bridesmaids, Judy Eide, Judith Rithamel and Sally Rude; Miss Lynn Rude, junior Bridesmaid. They wore dark gold dresses with matching petal headpieces. Their flowers were bronze chrysanthemums.

The groom’s attendants were Gordon Zickert, bestman; groomsmen, Ronell Zickert, Douglas Larsen and Roger Rude.  Kevin Zickert served as ringbearer, carrying the rings on a white satin heart-shaped pillow. Ushers were Jerry Sladek and Bruce Lippart.

Mr. and Mrs. Zickert are residing in Minneapolis, Minn., where they have bought a home.  Mr. Zickert is employed as an interior decorator.  Mrs. Zickert works in an insurance agency.

Among those from those from this area attending the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Percy Zickert and family of Neillsville and Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Anderegg of Loyal.
