Everybody seems to have a bad cold which seems like the Grippe.
Mrs. Carl Schroeder returned Tuesday from her visit to Marshfield.
The schools in this vicinity opened Monday after a two week vacation. Mrs. Ellis Jacklyn is finishing the term in the Weston brick school, resigned by Jeanette Daly of Grand Rapids.
Mrs. L. Kalsow and sons are home from their visit at Rhinelander.
Paul Grap was given a pleasant surprise Wednesday evening in honor of his 15th birthday.
Dr. Frank was out at Chris Christopherson’s Saturday as Mrs. Christopherson is sick.
Rachel and Inez Clinstman returned Monday to their work at Janesville.
Ernest Hemp and family visited Sunday at Theodore Kalsow’s.
Mrs. Gus Grap and daughter Viola returned Saturday from Wausau.
Elsie Mallig went to Grant Saturday to spend a few days with her sister, Mrs. Oswald Pischer.
Paul Wegner returned to his home at Custer, Mich. on Wednesday.
Gus Kalsow left Thursday for Berlin and Watertown to visit relatives.
Elsie Schoenwetter has gone to Minneapolis to work.
Elva Garbush is staying with her grandparents and attending school here.
Erick Schoenherr Sr. returned Saturday from a two week visit in Minnesota.
Linus Prock and family ate supper at Ed Schwellenbach’s Sunday.
John Dudei is skidding logs for Fred Glasow.
