Art the eldest of twelve children was born on April 17, 1923 in the town of Fremont, Clark County to Frank and Ida (Wittman) Boushon. As a young man he worked as a general labor on local farms and later began his career at Roddis Lumber in 1940 which is now known as Marshfield Door Systems. He retired as a supervisor in the core mill area on October 28, 1983.

Art was known as the only manager that came to work in bib-overalls so that he could work side by side with his employees.

He was united in marriage to Lorraine D. Strobel on April 22, 1944 at Christ Lutheran Church in Marshfield. Lorraine preceded him to Heaven on June 19, 2011. They had celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary.

Art was an avid fisherman, hunter, card player and Brewer fan. From Heaven, he will continue to guide us in his silent and solid role as the back bone of our family.
