A large crowd attended the ladies aid at the W.J. Davis home Wednesday.  A large amount of sewing was done for Mrs. Fabian.

 

Miss Nora Ackerman, Alvin Pischer and Arthur Lautenbach spent Wednesday evening at M. Dorst’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps and daughter Esther, and Elsie and Ray Dorst spent Wednesday evening at O. Montgomery’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis and daughter Ursula went to Rozellville Friday and visited until Saturday afternoon with the A.M. Johnson family.  Their nephew Robert Arthur accompanied them as far as Chili and spent the day with his old teacher, Dr. Housley.

 

Jesse Rowe entertained the wood sawyers Thursday and Friday.

 

A large crowd attended the song practice at the M. Dorst home Friday evening.  A social time was had after the singing.

 

Ruth Bartz was given a surprise party on her 11th birthday Saturday afternoon.

 

Leonard Dorst took a sleigh load of young people to the picnic club at Mrs. Eva Canfield’s Saturday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W. Montgomery and sons Robert and Allen, and daughter Lela spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. A.W. Phipps.

 

Miss Nell Dorst entertained the young ladies birthday club at her home Saturday afternoon.

 

Floyd Pietenpol entertained the wood sawyers Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bartz entertained a number of relatives and friends Sunday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. A. Phipps and Mr. and Mrs. Orin Montgomery spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. W.J. McClaflin.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pietenpol and daughter spent Sunday at the home of their daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Art Berg.

 

Mildred James came home from Marshfield Monday where she spent her vacation with her aunt.  Her grandmother Mrs. Amelia Montgomery, who spent the last 2 weeks caring for Mrs. Fred Daniels and baby, came home the same day.

 

Mrs. Alice Hatch spent Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. W.J. Davis.

 

The senior class of the Neillsville High School enjoyed a sleigh ride to the W.J. Davis home Tuesday evening, Miss Sara being one of the class.
