Funeral services will be held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o’clock from Zion American Lutheran Church in the town of Grant for Ernest Todd, 72, of the Town of Lynn, who died Monday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Franke on Rt. 1 Chili. The Rev. Evan Dieck will officiate, and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.

Mr. Todd was born March 23, 1893, in Nasonville. On September, 15, 1920, he was married to the former Esther Grassman in the Town of Lynn. They farmed in the Lynn area until her death in 1957. Since that time Mr. Todd had made his home with his children.

He is survived by four sons, LeRoy of Marshfield, Lester and Edward of Granton, and Ted of Delafield; two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Alma) Franke of Chili and Mrs. Robert (Esther) Murphy of Marathon; a brother, Andrew, of Granton; and a half-brother, Ray Todd of Denver, Colo.
