Hahm, Milda (9 March 1881 - 8 October 1965)
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon from Zion Lutheran Church in Granton for Mrs. Gustav Hahm, 84, a former resident, who died Friday in a nursing home in Racine. The Rev. F. C. Benecke officiated. Burial was made in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Hahm, the former Milda Plaul, was born March 9, 1881, in the Town of Lynn. She attended schools in the Granton area. On October 9, 1900, she was married to the late Gustav Hahm in Granton. He died in 1941.
Following their marriage they farmed in the Lindsey and Granton communities. Mrs. Hahm was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Granton and had resided for the last eight years in Milwaukee and Racine.
She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Gustav (Emma) Burge of Watseka, Ill.; Mrs. Carl (Leona) Gildemeister of Racine; Mrs. Carl (Bertha) Hoeh of Tinley Park, Ill.; and Mrs. Dale (Margaret) Driscoll of Marshfield; and a son, Louis, of Milwaukee. Other survivors are 21 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were: Armin Moh, Lucien Moh, Paul Riedel, Harold Bielke, E. L. Witte and Herbert Sternitzky.
