 Vogel, Roy W. (23 Mar 1911 - 17 Oct 1959)

Funeral services for Roy W. Vogel, 58, Wisconsin Rapids, who died at Riverview Hospital Friday, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church in Wisconsin Rapids.  Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery in Loyal.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Vogel was born in Loyal, March 23, 1911, and had been a resident of the Wisconsin Rapids area for 17 years.  On December 3, 1924, he married Eva Behringer, at Merrill.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Mrs. Flora Draper, Owen; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Valleskey, Sheboygan; a son, John, Wisconsin Raids; a brother, Ray, Owen, and three grandchildren.

Among the relatives and friends attending the services Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Neeb, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Vogel, Dianne, Mr. and Mrs. Neil Neeb and Mrs. Edna Cone, all of Loyal; Mrs. Walter Wetzel, Neillsville, Miss LaVaun Neeb, Dodge Center, Minn., Mrs. and Mrs. Walter Vogel and sons, Miss Gene Vogel and Mrs. Herbert Fritz, Milwaukee; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Vogel and Children, Villa Park, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hattery and Mr. and Mrs. Hiram Brown, Wheeler.
