Mr. and Mrs. Carl Loeffler, Mrs. Wm. Kelpin and Mrs. L.L. Ayers attended the funeral of the latter’s sister, Mrs. Kate Sternitzky Hale at Lynn Friday.

 

Herman Kelpin had the misfortune to cut his toe while helping Carl Loeffler cut wood one day last week.

 

Mrs. Oswald Pischer drove to Globe, taking her sister Miss Elsie Mallig home Thursday.  Mrs. Pischer returned Friday.

 

Mrs. E.A. Schroeder and baby Virginia Leigh Schroeder spent Monday afternoon at F.D. Riedel’s.

 

Paul Kelpin is helping Arnold Worchel cut wood.

 

Alfred Schnabel is cutting wood for F.D. Riedel.

 

While trying to hold a chunk of wood which his hired man was chopping, Robert Garbush had the misfortune to have the index finger of his right hand almost entirely cut off.
