"Grandpa" Zipfel suffered a stroke of paralysis Wednesday. His right side is completely paralyzed.
Out of 66 pupils enrolled in the Kurth School, only 11 attended Monday. Many were on the sick list.
Mary Slocomb is quite ill with the Grippe.
Alvin Eistentraut is home from the Neillsville Hospital since Friday and feeling fine.
Mrs. Ted Selves and Mrs. Blackman spent last Thursday with Mrs. James Hughes.
They have the shale on the road now as far as Kurth’s corners.
Wm. West Jr. is reported as having typhoid fever.
