Sischo, Winnie (13 OCT 1877 - 7 FEB 1960)
Mrs. Isaac Sisco, nee Winnie Brown, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Brown, was born in the Town of Reseburg, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), on Oct. 13, 1877 and grew to womanhood there.
She passed away at the Victory Memorial hospital on Sunday Feb. 7, 1960.
She married George Rosin of Colby, on Nov. 27, 1902. One son Ronald was born to them. They both preceded her in death. She married Isaac Sisco of Thorp on May 5, 1915, who survives. They lived on a farm near Colby, coming to Thorp in 1928.
She was laid to rest in the East Thorp Cemetery on Feb. 10, Rev. Cecil Ward officiating. Pallbearers were Corwin Guell, harry Quelle, Galen Misfeldt, Eldon Sischo, Bert Hubbard and Vivian Geiger.
Winnie was a faithful member of the Thorp Methodist Church, having served on the church board for many years, also teaching Sunday school and was a charter member of the Ladies Aid, now W.S.C.S., an active member of the W.R.C. Corp., Asbra Welcome No. 81. She was a devoted wife, friend and neighbor and will be missed by all, especially her aged husband.

Prospect, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Gwin, Hudson; Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Brehn, Colby; Mr. and Mrs. Charley Carnahan, Owen; Mrs. Mae Van Gorder, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Parkhill, Marshfield; Mr. A.E. Bolles, Mondovi; Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Geiger, Cassville; Mr. Joe Koniecny, Dorchester; Mrs. L.H. Emrish, Chippewa Falls; Mrs. Anna Rossman, Gilman; Mrs. Vicky Wilcenski, Gilman; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Johnson, Stanley.
