After the worst storm of years on Sunday, the sun is still shining upon a beautiful white snow cover. You ought to have a good crop this year, considering the snow an item.
Ure Brothers have commenced sawing lumber. They have put up quite an establishment and are able to give service. It is interesting to watch them do the work. They attend strictly to their business and do good work.
Our meat market man has commenced furnishing electric light to some of our businessmen. He doesn’t understand it exactly, but with a little help will be able shortly to handle the enterprise.
Chas. Kempin is quite sick and under the doctor’s care.
Reinhold Steckert has rented the Reinke farm. He probably will take possession soon. Reinhold had quite an experience Sunday when he had to take a school teacher to school district in Washburn. He managed to get over there okay, but when he returned the trouble commenced. Snow and wind had made regular mountains. He finally got home, but no more trips for Reinhold.
A few boles and one buggy gear to be had at Degener’s.
