No church last Sunday on account of the storm.

 

Our teachers had a hard time getting to school Monday.

 

Norman Schroeder walked out from Granton and arrived at the schoolhouse at noon and Miss Ruth Crockett got to her boarding place Monday evening.  Miss Clara Frantz arrived at nine o’clock Monday a.m, after having a terrible time with snow banks.

 

Mr. Lamp of City Point, visited his daughter Mrs. R. Galbreath and did business in Granton from Thursday until Monday when Mr. and Mrs. H. Galbreath accompanied him home.

 

Mr. Smith and Mrs. Jim Short are both very low at present writing.

 

Beth Machel and little son have both been on the sick list the past week.

 

Mrs. Larsen has been very ill with an abscess the past week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wilding are at Alma Center for a few days visit.

 

Mrs. Frechette and daughter Isabelle were seen on our streets last Friday evening on their way to her father Me. Zipfel, who has had a paralytic stroke and is quite bad.
