The snowstorm Sunday gave us an idea of the Dakota blizzard.
Mrs. Ferdinand Garbush and two sons of Neillsville came Saturday to spend a few days at the home of her parents, John Dudei and wife.
Tillie Kuenkel is working for Mrs. Chris Christenson.
Elsie Henchen, Esther Jackson and Mrs. Ella Jacklyn attended teachers convention at Neillsville Friday and Saturday.
The mail carriers on route 3 and 5 did not reach Globe Monday on account of the drifted roads.
Will Schwellenbach and family visited Sunday at Linus Prock’s.
Dr. Frank was a professional caller at the parsonage and at Fred Kalsow’s last week.
Emil Poppe and son John killed 3 raccoons which they found in a tree they sawed down on Friday.
Erwin Hemp spent Sunday afternoon with his uncle, John Dudei.
Mrs. Ellis Jacklyn is preparing to give a program and a basket sociable at the Weston Brick School on Friday evening, Feb. 2nd.
There was no school in the Globe District Monday and Tuesday as the teacher, Miss Jackson, could not get out here from Neillsville.
