Mrs. James Short quietly passed away at 12:20 Friday night. She leaves a husband and three little daughters to mourn her loss. The sympathy of the community was manifest in the large crowd which gathered at the house Monday morning to take the last leave of the dead.
Miss Clara Frantz, Ross Galbreath, Arthur Wilding and Norman Schroeder were all down with the grippe last week.
Dan Palmer went to Granton Tuesday afternoon after his father who will make his family a visit.
The Ladies Aid Society meets with Mrs. Ezra Sherrett this Thursday.
Arthur Short called the doctor for a sick cow Tuesday morning.
