Tresemer, Roland H. (27 October 1934 - 11 March 2012) With Flag
Roland Tresemer, 77, of Springfield, MO, passed away suddenly, Sunday, March 11, 2012. Roland Tresemer was born in Neillsville Oct. 27, 1934, the son of the late Emil and Hattie Tresemer.
Roland was a route driver for American Linen Supply Company and served in the Army Reserves. He was an avid sports fan, fisherman and bowler. Roland bowled in Springfield over 40 years. Every year he looked forward to going back home and fishing on the Black River in Wisconsin. He was loved by all who knew him, and his cheerful and outgoing personality made him a friend to all.
Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Wilson and husband Ronnie of Everton, MO; son, Kevin Tresemer and wife Jewell of Springfield; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Evelyn Brown of Kansas; Ed Tresemer, Dorothy Staffon-Schultz, and Carol Opelt, all of Neillsville, Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Lucy; and sisters, Susie Skroch, Gertie Hutchinson and Lucy Gates.
Graveside services were held Saturday, March 17, at 10 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
