Nindorf, Mary (30 AUG 1882 - 15 MAY 1960)

Mrs. Albert Nindorf, 77, of Chippewa Falls, passed away of a stroke at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls at 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, 1960.

 

The deceased was born at McCann, Wis., on Aug. 30, 1882.  She was married at Westfield, Wis. on Oct. 18, 1905 to Albert Nindorf.  They resided in the southern part of the state for several years and on a farm near Withee (Clark Co., Wis.) until 1936, when they went to Bloomer for a years and then to Chippewa Falls.

 

She is survived by one son, Quentin of Chippewa Falls; four daughters, (Dorothea) Mrs. Otto Meinholdt and (Irene) Mrs. Edward Meinholdt, Greenwood, (Leona) Mrs. Chester Moen and (Lucille) Mrs. Howard Meier, Chippewa Falls; three brothers, Fred Steinhaus, Montello, Wis., George Steinhaus, Cornell, Wis., and Frank Steinhaus, North Dakota; six granddaughters, two grandsons, four great-granddaughters and one great-grandson, besides several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 8, 1959, one son, Lauren in infancy, two brothers, four sisters and her parents.

 

Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. C.E. Anderson of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of Chippewa Falls at the Thorp Funeral Home at two o’clock Tuesday afternoon, May 17th.  Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery near the Black River.  Pallbearers were Hugo Wolters, Geo. Wnukowski, Sam Hagen, Charles Wnukowski, Albert Meinholdt and August Meinholdt.
