Riedel, Clara Augusta (Marriage - 10 October 1911)
Mr. Harlow Sherman, son of J. C. Sherman, and Miss Clara Augusta Riedel daughter of F. Riedel, two very popular young people of Nasonville were married at the German Lutheran Church, Tuesday, Oct. 10, 1911 at three o’clock, by Rev. Zielsdorf.
The attendants were Ernest Fischer, Louis Sherman, Ferdinand Riedel, and the Misses Hermania Voigt, Myrtle Sweet and Elsie Riedel. The bride wore white silk voile, trimmed with white satin and carried yellow and pink roses. The groom wore black. They were driven to the church in an automobile trimmed for the occasion. About 300 guests were present. After the ceremony a lovely supper was served in the dining room of the M. W. A. hall and the evening was spent in dancing. The choir sang two songs, one German and one in English. The out of town guests were Fred Riedel from Potter, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Riedel of Wausau, Vivian Sherman of Columbus and Mrs. Louis
