Will Jacobi is working for Ray Canfield.
Miss Tirva Balke is assisting Mrs. Robert Strey with her household duties.
Quite a number of the farmers around here took cattle to Veefkind Monday which they had sold to Mr. Garvin.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Schlinsog and little daughters spent Sunday at the Ernest Neinas home.
Frank Dubes and best girl were seen on our streets Sunday.
Miss Freda Garbisch called on Mrs. Carl Retta Sunday afternoon.
Ray Canfield hauled potatoes to Chili Saturday.
A dance was given in Knoll’s granary last Saturday night. Fred Dankemyer and Rex Kidd furnished the music. A good time was reported.
Mr. Scoles and mother spent Sunday afternoon at Jap Spry’s.
August Lautenbach and threshing crew came up to Jap Spry’s Tuesday to repair the break down they had there and to finish up threshing.
Lillian Handt was on the sick list last Tuesday.
Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Schlinsog and children drove to South Grant and attended church service of the German Lutheran Church Sunday forenoon.
Gustave Reich completed his combined granary and machine shed.
Fred Schultz was somewhat under the weather the latter part of last week.
Carl Retta hauled cheese to Granton Tuesday.
