Foemmel’s Corners (27 October 1911)

 

Mr. Henry Nonhof and Mr. Bradley went to Black River Falls one day last week to see the damage done by the flood.

 

Mrs. Ackerman and daughter Lilly visited Mrs. Willis Williams last Friday.

 

Owing to the rainy weather Truman Davis didn’t get his silo full until last week Thursday.

 

Rowe and Nonhof filled a silo for Geo. Root and refilled for Nonhof late last week.

 

The A. J. Lammers family spent Friday evening at Al Nonhof’s.

 

Ross Paulson and five or six other men are cutting corn on the King farm.

 

Jake Schafer and family, Anton Schafer and wife, and Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Hales spent Sunday at Frank Krejci’s.

 

Marjorie Pietenpol stayed over night with Lucile Davis last Friday night to help her celebrate her birthday.

 

Frank Lavey and family called on Albert Davis and wife Sunday.

 

Little Gladys Hayden was quite sick the latter part of last week.

 

Mrs. Louis Hayden’s two sisters from St. Paul visited her several days last week.

 

Mrs. Chas. Hayden took dinner with her son Louis and family one day last week.

 

Truman Davis and family Sundayed at the John Breese home.

 

Agnes Lawrence is spending the week with Grandma Huntley.

 

Mr. Bradley left he first of the week for his home in Sheboygan.

 

A snowstorm visited us Monday and another one Tuesday.
