Mrs. John Pietenpol, who was sick with the grippe and heart trouble, is able to sit up.
Louis Davis came Saturday and stayed until Monday with his brother Truman and family.
The mail man made only part of his trip Wednesday and since then has not been able to start out on account of snow drifts.
Will Schafer is in the hospital at Rochester since last week.
Rella Osgood says our roads are rather stuck up. We quite agree with him, for they are certainly up above the roads we traveled early in the winter.
Victor and Tom Krejci walked over to Victor’s farm in Fremont on Monday.
Al Nonhof and Will Foemmel plowed out the roads Monday.
It seems real old fashioned for neighbors to bring each other’s mail again.
