Moczarny, Victoria (19 DEC 1882 - 12 JUN 1960)

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Moczarny, 77, of Cavour, were held at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning, June 15 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek, with the Rev. Edward Novakowski officiating.

 

Death occurred at 2:50 Sunday morning in the Ovitz Hospital, Laona.  She had been ailing for the past six months.

 

Pallbearers were Roy Konieczny, Bruno Jakubiec, Albert Parzantka, Al Bousley and Henry Jarosz.

 

Interment was in the Pine Hill Cemetery, Armstrong Creek.

 

Deceased was born Dec. 19, 1882 in Poland.  She was married on Jan. 28, 1908 to Anthony Moczarny, who died May 6, 1927.  She came to Armstrong Creek about 50 years ago. 

 

Among the survivors are six sons, John of Armstrong Creek, Frank, Stanley and Anthony Chicago, Peter of Cavour and Paul of Farmingdale, N.J.; three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Antoinette) Konieczny of Elmwood Park, Ill., Mrs. Angeline Rafatcz of Chicago and Mrs. Joseph (Helen) Jankowski of Custer; three step-sisters, Mrs. Rosie Miechna, Mrs. Helen Bilena and Mrs. Alexandra Zuitek of Chicago, two brothers in Poland; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, Joseph and Andrew, a sister and a brother.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Joe Konieczny and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Olinski of Stanley, Wis. attended the funeral.
