Max Wierenzenski helped Rush Wentworth several days last week.

Will Schafer returned from Rochester on Friday, much improved in health.

Lucille Davis spent Friday and Saturday night with her cousin Marguerite Morris and attended the basketball game in Granton on Friday night.

Lila Davis stayed from Friday until Monday with her grandparents.

Kate Cornwell spent last week in caring for Mrs. John Pietenpol and daughter Ruth, who at that time were on the sick list.

The Messrs. Mose and LaMere from Detroit, Mich., are hewing ship timbers on the Cranston farm, boarding at J.W. Pietenpol’s.

About 44 of Geo. Frei Jr.’s friends gathered at his home here with baskets laden with goodies to eat and helped him celebrate his twenty-first birthday.  All report the best time ever and hope to surprise him again some evening.

Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol entertained about 32 relatives last Sunday at a big feed in honor of her brother Louis Davis.

Miss Louise Krause spent several days of last week with her sister Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer.

Truman Davis and several stockholders in the Wausau packing plant went to Wausau Tuesday to attend the meeting at that place.

Mrs. Kate Cornwell and baby Harold took up residence at the Oscar Eberhardt home where Mrs. Will set as housekeeper.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fabian and family, who have been staying at Mr. Eberhardt’s since the Cash Ide house in which they were living, burned, went to Loyal to stay with her parents until March 1^st, when they will move onto Mrs. Parrett’s farm, which they have rented.

Mrs. Betsy ide is very ill with la grippe.  Her daughter Abbie is also ill.

Mrs. John Breese assisted in the care of Mrs. Ide on Tuesday.

Nora Ackerman spent Tuesday at Neillsville.
