Well, about all the news we know is snow drifts.

 

Mrs. Will Rowe and Mrs. Forest Rowe visited Mrs. E.G. Rowe on Tuesday.

 

Grant Turner returned from Draper, Wis. Tuesday, where he has been working the past 2 months.  He thinks York Center is pretty good.

 

We have an idea that our items got lost in snowstorm last week, as they didn’t get into the paper, but someone lese had a write up in for York Center.

 

Little Morris Davis and Nora Benedict are on the sick list.  Dr. Ross came out to see them Monday as soon as the road was opened up so he could get through.

 

We had to go without our mail on Neillsville R. 4 for just one week on account of bad roads, when it did come we went out with a bushel basket.

 

Ray Mortimer walked to Granton Monday to get some of the mail for the neighborhood.

 

George Mortimer and Hank Voight went to Granton Tuesday.

 

Grant Turner and E.M. Schoenfeld went to Loyal Wednesday.

 

Ella Hales went from her home to the Will Campbell home in north York Monday on skis.  She enjoyed the trip, but she felt like resting when she got there.

 

Ed Voight has a sick horse since he came home from the woods.

Mrs. W.M. Rowe visited her sister Mrs. E.A. Lindsley last Friday.

 

Grant Turner made a trip to Granton Monday after lumber for E.M. Schoenfeld.

 

Forest Rowe made two trips to Neillsville last week after coal.  The last time he went with a four horse team.  He is now ready for the next cold blow.

 

Ginther Eden is working for Ray Mortimer.

 

The Nick Wierenzenski home was a sweet place Tuesday evening.  They had a candy pull.

 

John Vandeberg has been hauling wood for Will Benedict.

 

John Davis entertained wood sawyers Tuesday.

 

Cheese meeting at York Center Factory last Thursday.

 

J. Voight lost a horse one day last week.

 

Art Phipps and family visited Friday at the home of their son George.

 

Mrs. Will Rowe and Mrs. Forest Rowe visited Monday at the Jesse Rowe home.

 

Abie Turner and sons Grant and George are busy putting up poles for a year’s wood.

 

Mrs. Sam Adams is very sick at present.

 

Mrs. John Vandeberg is able to be up part of the time now.
