Tennant, Eugene Allen (23 April 1962 - 1 April 2012)

Allen Tennant, 49, of Neillsville, formerly of Merrillan, died Sunday, April 1, 2012, in Neillsville.

Eugene Allen Tennant was born April 23, 1962, in Black River Falls, the son of William Alonzo and Wilma Jane (Geisler) Tennant.  He grew up in Merrillan and worked at lawn care, landscaping and childcare.  He moved to Neillsville three years ago.

Allen loved wildlife.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, photography, and he loved children.  He was a terrific brother and uncle who will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.

He is survived by three sisters, Diane Tennant of Black River Falls, Frances Parker of Humbird and Melinda (Ken Durst) Sanders of Neillsville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mike and Bill Tennant, and a nephew, Pat Sanders.

No funeral services will be held. A luncheon in Allen’s memory will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 6, on the patio of the Neillsville Country Club.
