 Meier, Irene  (1937 - 29 JAN 1999)

Irene Meier, 62, of Stuart, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 29 at her residence.  She was born in Neillsville, Wis., and had been a resident of Stuart for the past 4 years moving from Wisconsin.

She was a dietary cook for National Health Care in Stuart.  She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church of Stuart, Fla.

Survivors include four sons: Dennis Meier and his wife Jan, of Jensen Beach, Fla., Roger Meier and his wife Sara, of Roswell Ga., Jerrald Meier, of Minneapolis, Minn., and Thomas Meier and his wife Angie, of Granite Falls, Wash.; two daughters: Theresa Meier of Minneapolis, Minn., and Sheila Meier of Schaumburg, Ill., as sister Marie Meier of Neillsville, Wis.; 3 brothers; Everett Dux, Melvin Dux and Norman Dux; 13 grandchildren and companion Ed Powers, of Stuart, Fla.

She was predeceased by a son, Robert Meier.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, Feb. 1 at Redeemer Lutheran Church of Stuart, Fla., with the Rev. John C. Zeile officiating.

Interment will be in the Neillsville, Wis.
