Debevec, Frank C. (22 NOV 1924 - 16 MAR 1998)
Frank C. Debevec, age 73, died Monday, March 16, 1998 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, In Marshfield. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 20 at Holy Family Catholic church in Willard, Wis., with Father Joseph Follmar officiating. Burial will be in Holy Family Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 19 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood. There will be a prayer service at 6 p.m. Pallbearers will be Nick Klapatauskas, Ray Klapatauskas, Arlen Klapatauskas, Randy Klapatauskas, David Klapatauskas, and Jim Gregorich.
Frank was born Nov. 22, 1924 in Willard to Anton Sr. and Mary (Zevnik) Debevec. He attended Willard Grade School and graduated from Greenwood High School in 1942. He married Agnes Klapatauskas on Jan. 10, 1948 at Holy Family Catholic church in Willard. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past January. After their marriage Frank co-owned the F & M Garage in Willard for 13 years, and then was employed at Schwellenbach Implement Co. in Christie until retiring in 1987.
Survivors include his wife Agnes, Willard; one daughter, Patricia (Cal) Coleman, Cottage Grove, Minn.; two sons: William (Linda) Debevec, Neillsville, and Alan (Karol) Debevec of Greenwood; five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert (Jo) Debevec, Willard, Raymond (Laverne) Debevec of Pasco. Wash., Charles Debevec of Rockville, Mass.
He was predeceased by a son Randy in 1952, his parents, two brothers; Anton Jr. and Ralph; two sisters: Mary Rakovec and Eleanor Fale.
