At 7 p.m. Saturday, August 9, Miss Beverly Wolter approached the flower banked altar of Trinity Lutheran Church on the arm of her father for her marriage to James T. Crowley. The officiating pastor was the Rev. John Pfohl.
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Wolter, Loyal are the parents of the bride and the groom’s parents were Mr. and Mrs. James J. Crowley of Owens.
The bride chose a navy blue street length dress with white lace collar and cuffs and white accessories for her wedding. Her flowers were a shoulder corsage of pink and white roses and stephanotis.
Miss Diane Wolter was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a navy blue dress with white accessories and a corsage of pink roses and stephanotis.
Kenneth Strohkirch of Owen was best man.
Miss Rebecca Will Furnished the wedding music.
The bride is a graduate of the Loyal High School and has been employed as stenographer at Allis Chalmers, Milwaukee.
The groom is a graduate of the Owen High School and has served in the U.S. Navy. He will attend Eau Claire State College this year to prepare foe r a teaching vocation.
A honeymoon was spent in Northern Wisconsin and Michigan.
The couple will make their home in Eau Claire.
