Foemmel’s Corners (29 December 1911)
Al Nonhof and family spent Sunday at E.R. Wonser’s.
Dr. Schweinler was called out to Truman Davis’ last week to see a sick horse which is O.K. now.
John Breese and wife visited at Truman Davis’ last Sunday.
Murl Sweet went home Sunday and stayed until Wednesday.
Mrs. Chas Cross and son Lawrence came down from Spencer and stayed several days with her mother Mrs. Chas Hayden.
Mrs. John Pietenpol entertained her brothers with their families and Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Tompkins at a big dinner on Christmas Day.
Mrs. Fradette and baby spent a few days with relatives at Granton.
Mrs. Gerzemehle and family ate Christmas dinner at Geo. Frei’s.
Mrs. John Hefty Sr. and son Dan visited at John Hefty Jr’s in Chili, Sunday.
Ed Ackerman and family Sundayed at H. Roehl’s
Al Nonhof and family attended the entertainment at York Center Christmas Eve.
Sam Martin, Louis Hayden, John Breese, with their families and Mrs. Chas Cross and son ate Christmas dinner with Mr. and Mrs. Chas Hayden.
Ed Ackerman and family spent Christmas at Mike Dorst’s. Miss Nellie accompanied them home for a few days visit.
The steady snow storm all day Tuesday brought good sleighing again.
