Vernon Wright came home from Camp Douglas yesterday to spend the balance of the week with relatives.

 

Mrs. Mable Welsh is caring for Mrs. Fred Hart and her little son.  All are well.

 

Mrs. Louis Hayden and her four children are visiting relatives at Merrillan since last Friday.

 

Mrs. P.J. Kemmeter entertained the Circle and a number of friends Wednesday afternoon and at tea.

 

Louis Davis, after a several weeks visit with relatives here, left on the return trip to Montana last night.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gus Grassman of Clifton came Saturday and made an over Sunday visit with rleatives in the Fred Grassman family.

 

Miss Annie Larson of route 3 is again with Mrs. Ross Paulson since Wednesday.  Mrs. Paulson has plans for going on a visit to the A.H. Tucker family at Lodi next week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. W.J. Davis were called to the southern part of the state early this week by the alarming illness of their respective mothers.

 

Mrs. G.E. Amidon, enroute home early this week from Tawa City, Mich. where she had been at the bedside of her sick and aged father, was advised  while yet in Michigan that her father had passed on and she in consequence returned there.

 

Ernest Dixon was a Neillsville visitor Wednesday.

 

Attorney A.L. Devos of Neillsville spent Wednesday here on professional business.

 

Mr. and Mrs. H.F. Schlinsog and children, with Arnold Guk and Miss Verna Keller, were guests at the Julius Lautenbach home on Sunday.

 

Mrs. Gus Williams and baby are here since Wednesday visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank lavey.

 

G.E. Amidon is as yet at Melrose.  His mother died Wednesday s morning.  Mr. Amidon is expected home tomorrow.

 

Mrs. Gottlieb Riedel, returning home from Milwaukee Wednesday evening, was the guests of Mrs. Aug. Schmoll until yesterday afternoon.

 

Mrs. Henry Lutz, after a three week visit with relatives here and at Neillsville, returned home to Milwaukee on Thursday.

 

Mrs. Robert Kurth of Neillsville has been visiting between the Sam Cook, Clemens Kuechenmeister, Louis and Otto Hantke and Fred Handke homes since Friday of last wee, when she rose out with her brother Otto Hantke.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Hiles, after a several weeks visit with relatives on Route 1, went home to Chili Tuesday.  C.C. Berg, her father, accompanied them home that day.
