Noble Downer, F.T. Lee and Chas. Brooks attended the funeral of Frank Potter on Friday.

 

Hugh Converse, with his mother and sister Florence, visited at Leo Chapel’s Friday.  Miss Florence remained for a week’s stay with her sister Mrs. Chapel, who has been in poor health for several weeks.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Berg attended the meeting of a social club at H.J. Pietenpol’s Thursday.

 

Mrs. Frank jahr and sister Miss Clara Wilke were Neillsville visitors Saturday.

 

Noble Downer, while loading his hogs for market Monday, slipped and fell, injuring one leg by tearing loose some muscles and was obliged to have a physician attend to it.  He is able to get around, though with a bad limp.

 

Dora Johnson, Maude Smith and Leona Downer, spent Sunday afternoon with Carol Davis.

 

Mrs. Arthur Berg is on the sick list this week, also several members of the Johnson family.

 

Helen Downer spent Sunday afternoon with the Gardner young folks.

 

Mrs. Gustave Heinrich and son visited Saturday and Sunday with Mrs. Amelia Davis and her mother Mrs. Gerlach.

The Otto Yordi and Fred Sternitzky families had supper at Ara Lee’s Sunday.

 

Maude Smith spent Monday night with Miss Marguerite Morris at Granton.

 

Frank Jahr shipped a carload of wood from Harris Spur last week.

 

Dora Johnson spent Sunday night at Lew Smith’s.

 

Hattie Downer has been doing the chores for Frank Jahr while Frank was indisposed with the grippe.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Sweet visited at Ernest Yankee’s Sunday.

 

Our la grippe victims are too numerous to mention.
