Mrs. Ed. Wightman spent several days last week with
her mother, Mrs. D. Wood.
Walter Amidon spent Saturday evening at Lon
Cook’s.
Those from away who attended the funeral of Mrs. M.M. Cook were
Henry Clark and wife, Mrs. George Cook and daughter, Pearl, of Merrillan, Nelse
Metcalf and wife of Black River Falls, Jesse Metcalf of Altoona, Allie Metcalf
of Cadott, Dwight Metcalf of Ashland, Mort M. Cook of Fiefleld, Ernest Cox and
daughter, Bessie, and Mr. and Mrs. Stoneberg of Greenwood.
Chas. Seif and
wife and children and Blanche Marden spent Sunday at the Dave Wood home.
Mrs. Asplin of Tioga visited at Walter Amidon’s, H. Parkin’s and D. Wood’s
several days last week.
Emma Bruney who came home to spend the holidays
returned to her work in St. Paul last week, Saturday.
John Durst is
sawing wood for some of the farmers here.
