Neitzel, Otto (? - 21 JAN 1915)

Otto Neitzel died at this home Thursday after an illness of several months. He is survived by his wife and six daughters, Mrs. Geo. Helmbach, Mrs. Will Stewart, Mrs. Paul Hemp, Mrs. Claire Marsh and Laura and Elsie Neitzel. The funeral was held at the Reiff Lutheran Church. The bereaved family has the sympathy of the entire community.

Otto Bogasholf Neitzel who was born 12 Ocr 1844 in Klebow, Dramburg, Pomerania, Prussia, Germany and Susanna H. Riedel. Susanna was born 25 March 1850 in Wrodaw, Miasto Wroclaw, Dolnoslaskie, Poland. On the first day of March, 1880, they became the parents of Adelea H. Neitzel who was their fourth daughter a sister to six other girls (Louise Elizabeth Anna, 1874-1917; Clara Martha Emma, 1876-1938; Amalia Charlotte Susan 1878-1951; Lydia A., 1883-1936, Laura M., 1888-1975; Elsie, 1892-1990; and a brother who was born and died in 1881.

About 1911, Adelea who was nicknamed "Dalia" married Robert Iakisch (18 Sep 1874, Lynn, WI-1955, Keokuk, IA). Their marriage was blessed with two children: Laura Barbara (1912, Dubuqe, IA-1991, and Marshall Rudolph (9 Jul 1914-19 Jun 1993).
