Levis (28 JAN 1915)

Professor Rood and a body of teachers and students of the Neillsville High School will give a program in Lincoln School House, Dist. 4, Friday evening. A small admission will be charged to defray expenses.

Miss Johanna Blum was a guest of Mrs. J.W. McAdams Tuesday of last week.

The schools of Misses Myrtle Evans and Celia Broeren will hold a spelling contest Friday.

H. Blum and wife spent last Thursday evening at the home of Wm. Naedler.

Lillian Shramek was operated upon for appendicitis last Tuesday at a hospital in Chicago. She is gaining rapidly.

Mrs. Chas. Musil left Tuesday for an extended visit in Nebraska.

The annual meeting of the Day Creamery was held Monday afternoon. The officers were elected as follows: A. Liskow, president; J.W. Short, secretary; Wm. Naedler, treasurer. The newly elected directors are: H. Blum and M. Keller. Chas. Musil’s bid for filling the ice house was accepted and the bid of F. Seelow for hauling butter was accepted. A special committee was appointed which will hold a meeting Feb. 11.

Mrs. Ed Remus was a guest at the home of E.M. Rowe of Neillsville Saturday.
